your questions answered
we keep all things myhab really simple, but even simple things need clearing up. so here we answer your questions to help you understand all this myhab stuff. if we have not answered your questions fill in the box below and we shall try our best to answer.
so how much is a myhab?
each myhab is £240. so if your sharing that's only £120 each.
how’s a cardboard myhab cover going to keep the rain out?
we give our cardboard the special treatment, which means it’s totally waterproof. we’ve put it through some pretty serious testing and we can say – with our hand on our hearts – that it’s totally waterproof. no matter how wet it gets, you stay dry.
will it keep me warm and dry?
we found that, by raising the myhab base 20cm above the ground, absolutely no damp can get in. so that’s where we left it. as long as you remember to shut the door, you’ll be snug as... and with hot showers and rather lovely loos – just for myhab users – you’ve always got somewhere to spruce up before you catch your next band/crash out.
so how does the myhab service work then?
you book online – remember to personalise your myhab when you book too – and after that, it’s over to us. we’ll put your myhab together in the myvillage and take it down for recycling at the end of the festival. there’s a myhab team available 24 hours a day to help out throughout the festival. your job is to get stuck into the music.
is my myhab going to be the same as all the others?
not if you personalise it. when you book online you can add a festival character, name or message to make it your very own. there’s different coloured myhabs too… so all in all you’ll spot your myhab a mile off.
do i have to set it up?
nah. that’s all part of the service. your myhab will be waiting for you when you get to the festival. oh, and you can leave taking it down to us too.
is it light inside?
yes extremely, the myhab lets lots of natural light in.
eco-friendly? how's that then?
every year tens of thousands of tents get left at festivals, with most of these destined for landfill, which we thought was a bit of a waste. myhab is a greener alternative and much less of a hassle to clear up. it's mainly made from recycled materials that we will reuse or recycle.
how many people does a myhab sleep?
we have designed the myhab so that two people sleep comfortably on a soft double mattress.
how can i ensure that me and my friends will have myhabs located next to each other?
when you book your myhabs, make sure that you use the same group name for each booking. this will allow us to reserve you myhabs next to each other.
where will the myhab village be located on the festival site?
this depends on the festival you are going to. please check out the festival page for more info. on this.
